AmneziaWG VPN for iOS — when WireGuard is blocked
AmneziaWG is obfuscated WireGuard for networks that detect standard VPN traffic. FollowNet includes AmneziaWG on iOS and can activate it automatically via Smart Connect.
Why obfuscation matters
Deep packet inspection (DPI) can block or throttle recognizable VPN signatures. AmneziaWG wraps WireGuard in a form that is harder to classify — useful on some mobile carriers and in censorship-heavy regions.
Using AmneziaWG in FollowNet
Enable Smart Connect for automatic fallback, or select AmneziaWG manually in Settings → Protocol. Performance may differ from plain WireGuard; Speed Test helps compare.
