AdGuard and AdGuard Family DNS in FollowNet
DNS presets choose the resolver while you are connected. They do not replace VPN encryption.
What to know
AdGuard leans toward blocking ads/trackers at DNS level. AdGuard Family adds broader family-oriented filtering. FollowNet still tunnels to the VPN server; DNS only answers names.
How to use it
Settings → DNS → AdGuard or AdGuard Family. If a bank or intranet hostname fails, try Default / Cloudflare / Google briefly to isolate DNS filtering.
Limits and honest expectations
DNS filtering is not a full content filter for every app edge case. Pair with Chrome list blocking only if you understand both layers.
