iOS remains the center
Expect more work on Auto-connect reliability, widgets, Shortcuts, and making Smart Connect failures explainable in plain language. The App Store client is the product people trust with system VPN.
Protocols as tools
WireGuard, IKEv2, AmneziaWG, and Hysteria2 stay first-class. The roadmap is better selection under DPI and loss. Manual override will remain for power users.
Chrome and account
The extension should feel like the same Free vs Premium story with clearer status and fewer dead ends. Passwordless login stays the default identity path across surfaces.
How we prioritize
Bugs that strand travelers beat shiny marketing pages. If something is on the public site, it should match the app. Small team, honest scope — that constraint is the roadmap filter.
