Free is real — capped weekly on purpose

FollowNet Free is not a demo banner. You get a working iOS VPN with core servers, modern protocols, Smart Connect, DNS presets, Network Profiles, Speed Test, and the same account for Chrome. The limit is weekly traffic — never a daily refill trick — so Free stays honest evaluation capacity, not “unlimited forever” marketing.

What ships on Free today

On iPhone and iPad, Free connects within the weekly allowance shown in the app. You can try WireGuard, IKEv2, AmneziaWG, Hysteria2, or Smart Connect, pick Free locations for your plan, and use Auto-connect where available. No credit card is required to start Free on iPhone.

What Premium actually unlocks

Premium removes the weekly traffic cap (unlimited traffic), unlocks Premium locations for the current plan, supports up to five devices on one subscription, and keeps the experience ad-free. Premium is capacity and convenience — not stronger encryption. Free and Premium use the same protocol stack.

How to upgrade without theater

Most users upgrade in the iOS app via Apple In-App Purchase. When web checkout is enabled, Premium is also available through WayForPay on follow-net.com — same account, different payment surface. Eligible App Store accounts may see an annual Premium trial at purchase; availability is controlled by Apple and shown on the pay screen, not invented in a blog post.

Chrome and platform scope

The Chrome extension is a browser proxy with Kill Switch and EasyList/AdGuard ad blocking — not a macOS, Android, or Windows system VPN. It shares your FollowNet account and plan limits across surfaces. Full-device macOS and Android apps are not available yet.

What we will not claim
