Premium’s five devices: iPhone, iPad, and Chrome seats without the chaos

How FollowNet seats work in practice — shared account, shared Free/Premium entitlements, and freeing a forgotten iPad.

One account, multiple endpoints

Premium follows the FollowNet account (email code login), not a single Apple ID. Sign in on iPhone, iPad, and the Chrome extension — they draw from the same plan: unlimited traffic and the Premium server map when entitled.

What usually counts as a seat

Active signed-in sessions on iOS/iPadOS apps and desktop Chrome typically consume seats toward the five-device cap. Exact labels live under account / devices in the app — use that list when you hit the limit.

Freeing a slot

Sign out or remove the stale device, then sign in on the new phone. Do not share one Premium login across a household beyond five endpoints — the sixth will fail loudly instead of silently stealing speed.

Chrome is not a free bonus seat

The extension protects browser traffic only, but a signed-in Chrome still occupies a Premium seat. Log out unused browsers before adding another iPhone.
