Passwordless FollowNet login: new phone, Apple subscription, Chrome sign-in
How email codes replace yet another password — and how to reconnect Premium after you wiped an iPhone.
Why codes instead of passwords
FollowNet signs you in with a one-time email code on iOS and Chrome. You do not maintain a FollowNet password to forget, reuse, or phish. Protect the mailbox — that is the account root.
New iPhone checklist
Install from the App Store → sign in with the same email → allow the VPN configuration prompt → restore Auto-connect / Network Profile if needed. Apple In-App Purchase subscriptions are restored through Apple’s account, then FollowNet maps entitlement to your FollowNet user.
Chrome on a new laptop
Install the extension, sign in with the same email code, then connect the browser proxy. It will consume a Premium seat if you are on Premium — free up devices if you hit five.
When Apple and FollowNet disagree
Restore Purchases in the iOS app first. Web checkout (when enabled) is a different payment rail on the same account. Trial terms for annual Premium appear on Apple’s pay sheet — not invented in a blog post.
