VLESS Reality on iOS in FollowNet — when classic tunnels stall

VLESS with REALITY-style camouflage is part of FollowNet’s stack for fingerprint-heavy ISPs. Smart Connect may pick it; you can lock it manually.

What to know

Some carriers stall WireGuard or even AmneziaWG. VLESS Reality is another path when a tunnel looks Connected but does not pass real traffic. FollowNet still verifies egress before treating the session as healthy.

How to use it

Leave Protocol on Smart, apply Restricted Network, or select VLESS Reality in Settings → Protocol. Confirm with a real page load and Speed Test — not status color alone.

Limits and honest expectations

VLESS is not faster everywhere. On calm home Wi‑Fi, WireGuard usually wins. Availability depends on servers that support VLESS for your plan.
