VPN not connecting on iPhone — FollowNet checklist
Most failures are permission, portal, quota, or a protocol the network kills. Work the checklist before assuming the app is broken.
What to know
Check: VPN configuration allowed, Free weekly not exhausted, captive portal done, try Smart/Restricted, try another server, reboot network, reinstall VPN profile from Settings if iOS glitched.
How to use it
Settings → Protocol → Smart → connect. Still failing → Restricted → AmneziaWG/VLESS manually → different city → Speed Test after it comes up.
Limits and honest expectations
If Apple’s VPN toggle shows disconnected after you denied permission, open FollowNet and approve again. Quota-blocked Free needs Premium or wait for reset.
